Travel Policies


The single most effective way to control travel and entertainment expenses is through an effective written policy and policy enforcement. CTI Business Travel provides consultant services to assist clients in writing a travel policy that is unique to their company’s needs.


CTI Business Travel then assures that your company’s travel policy is adhered to. Your travel policy will be listed on your company’s travel profile in CTI Business Travel’s airline reservation system. We will strictly enforce your corporate travel policy and guarantee that if we issue a ticket outside the parameters of your policy, we will buy the ticket.


Negotiated Contracts


On an ongoing basis CTI Business Travel, Inc. gathers information about your company’s travel patterns. We track airline, car rentals, hotels, cost per mile, costs per trip, etc. After tracking your company's travel habits for 90 days CTI Business Travel will tailor a strategy to negotiate contracts with vendors that will reduce travel costs. We have a proven track record of being proactive in using this data to negotiate on behalf of our clients.


We will make recommendations to our clients in order to cut travel expenses and then implement these changes. In cities where a client does not have enough volume on their own, to get lower negotiated rates, we use one of our travel partners to get the lowest negotiated rates.


Unused Tickets


If a traveler has an unused ticket it will be attached to their profile and the next time they travel it will be used. On average a company has 23% of their annual air travel volume tied up in unused tickets, and 60% of those tickets are NEVER used. We have the answer to that problem. We track, utilize and all unused tickets purchased through us have to be used through us and can’t be used directly with the airlines.

A Customer Service Manager will be assigned to the company's account to carry out all of CTI Business Travel's service programs.
